Returns & Refund Policy

At a glance

1. All Sales Final After Shipment

Due to the nature of research chemicals, all sales are final once the product has been shipped. We cannot accept returns of products that are unopened simply because the Buyer changed their mind, ordered the wrong item, or no longer needs the material. This policy reflects the sensitivity of research-grade compounds to handling, temperature, and chain-of-custody conditions that we cannot verify once a product has left our facility.

2. Damage in Transit or Non-Conforming Product

If you receive a product that is damaged during transit or does not conform to its Certificate of Analysis, you must notify PepMax within seven (7) calendar days of delivery. To open a claim:

  • Email support@pepmax.bio or call (520) 403-0562 (Mon – Fri, 9 AM – 5 PM MST).
  • Include your order number.
  • Attach photographic evidence of the damage or non-conformity, including the outer packaging, the product vial, and any packing materials.
  • Retain the product and packaging until your claim is resolved.

Claims received after the seven-day window are not eligible. Claims without photographic evidence may be denied at our discretion.

3. Resolution Options

For valid claims, PepMax will, at its sole discretion, issue one of the following:

  • Replacement — the same product re-shipped at no additional cost.
  • Store credit — equal to the affected line item, applied to your account for use on a future order.
  • Refund to original payment method — on a case-by-case basis.

Resolution typically issues within five (5) business days of the claim being approved.

4. Cryptocurrency Refunds

For orders paid in cryptocurrency, refunds — when granted — are issued as store credit by default, in accordance with Section 7 of our Terms & Conditions. Refunds to a crypto wallet are considered case-by-case; when granted, the refund amount is calculated in U.S. dollars at the time of refund (not at the time of the original payment), and the Buyer is responsible for any network fees and exchange-rate variance. We do not refund the original coin amount, and we do not guarantee parity between the refund value and the original transaction value due to crypto market volatility.

5. Items Not Eligible for Return

The following are not eligible for return, replacement, or refund:

  • Products that have been opened, solubilized, reconstituted, or otherwise altered.
  • Products reported damaged more than seven (7) calendar days after delivery.
  • Orders delivered to an incorrect address provided by the Buyer.
  • Orders where the Buyer refused delivery without an authorized return.
  • Products purchased through promotional codes that explicitly state the purchase is final sale.

6. Return Authorization & Address

Do not ship any return without first obtaining a return authorization.Unauthorized returns will be refused at the carrier and will not be eligible for replacement or refund. When a return is authorized, we will provide an RA number and the approved return address (which matches the corporate address listed below). Returns must be packaged in their original protective materials, when available, and shipped using a trackable method. Return shipping costs are the Buyer’s responsibility unless we explicitly agree otherwise as part of the authorization.

7. Order Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled by contacting support within one (1) hour of placement, before they enter processing. Once an order has entered processing or shipped, it cannot be cancelled and the policies above apply.
